Google is offering millions of rupees reward for finding the bug

Recently Google has started a program called bug bounty. In which the company is giving a reward of up to 31,337 dollars (approximately 25 lakh rupees) for finding defects in its open source project.


The program is called the Open Source Vulnerability Software Rewards Program (OSS VRP), which encourages researchers to report the most actual and potentially impactful bugs in open source software to the Google portfolio. Google says that. 

In their OSS VRP program, rewards ranging from $101 to $31,337 will be awarded to those who find bugs in open software based on the depth of vulnerability and the importance of the product. 

According to the blog, top awards will be given to those who find bugs in projects like Golang, Insular and Fuchsia. Over time, the VRP lineup has expanded to include programs focused on Chrome Android and other areas, and the program has collectively awarded more than 13,000 commissions, the Alphabet-owned company said. In which a total of more than 38 million dollars (approximately 303 crore rupees) has been paid.
