You get a phone upfront, a well designed case, stickers, red cable club card, documents, Type C cable, 30W Warp charge 30T plus adapter & sm card tool. Time to keep everything aside & will look at the phone. This phone is thinner, smaller & light weight. It has a minimalist design with blue & purple tint. It's a nice design overall. This is not a glass back phone & that's why it's lighter. It's made of composite material.
If I talk about core experience this phone should've had a glass back as the OnePlus Nord also has a glass back but this does not have it. This is light & thin at 7.9mm & the frame is also made of metal. This weighs around 172-173 grams & it feels very light. You probably won't feel the weight when you keep it in your pocket. The 3.5mm jack is back. On the bottom side you have a 3.5 mm jack, microphone, Type C port, speaker grill. Right hand side you have the power button. On top you get a noise cancelling microphone. Left hand side Sim card tray & volume rocker button. Alert slider is missing. If we talk about core aspects, an alert slider should’ve been there. Will check the sim card tray. It's a dual nano sim card tray.

It's a beautiful bright display. It's a 6.43’’ sAMOLED screen with 90 Hz refresh rate. Screen to body ratio is quite good as side & top bezels are thin and bottom bezel is also smaller than average & that is why this phone feels compact.
OnePlus Nord CE 5G Specifications
It comes with SD 750G 5G SoC & battery is 4500 mAh (OnePlus Nord has 4115 mAh battery) And with OxygenOS, you can easily expect one day’s battery life with moderate usage. You get a 30W charger that can charge 0-70% in 30 mins & that's quite good. SD 750G only has one 5G band & that's not good.

it's one of the core experiences of OnePlus phones & this one has it. It runs on OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11. And Oneplus claims that it’ll get 2 years of OS updates & 3 years of security updates so that's good. You get features like Zen Mode so you get the core experience of oxygen OS. It gets all the sensors with in display fingerprint sensor that works fast, face unlock is also fast & reliable.
OnePlus Nord CE 5G Camera
It has a triple camera setup : 64MP is the primary camera (Nord has 48MP). Looking at the photo sample, It has good colors & takes some detailed photos. There’s an 8MP ultrawide lens with 119 degree FOV + 2MP Mono lens. On the front you have a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor. As I said, photos have good dynamic range. Ultrawide camera has softer image output but the overall camera is quite good.
There's no OIS on this phone but it can shoot 480 fps slow mo videos, night mode is there that works well. You can record upto 4K 30 fps videos on this phone.
OnePlus Nord CE 5G Performance
The performance is great with AnTuTu score - 3.93 Lakhs (it's mostly because we have 12GB 256 GB variant ). This is a really good score. You can play games with very high settings & 90 Hz make the gaming experience much better. The combination of fluid AMOLED & fast refresh rate with OxygenOS makes the overall experience smoother. The performance actually surprised me. If it had SD 768G it would've been better but 750G is not bad.

It has a very good screen so the video viewing experience is great but it doesn't get stereo speakers but a 3.5 mm jack is there. If you do a lot of gaming, consume a lot of multimedia so a 3.5 mm jack is present. Overall multimedia experience is good even with a mono speaker which is loud. Conclusion
Does this phone bring you the core OnePlus experience ? Yes & No. It should've got an alert slider & glass back as these two things are core to OnePlus which is missing on this phone. But display & performance are stand out features and give you the core OnePlus experience.
