 MG Motor has partnered with Geo, the country's leading telecom company, to equip its vehicles with better and advanced connected car technology in the Indian market. Now the two companies will work together to bring a state-of-the-art 'connected car solution' to the Indian SUV market. MG Motor India has announced a partnership with Geo, India's leading digital services provider, in the Internet of Things (IoT) space.


Good connectivity will be available everywhere in the country

 MG Motor India sells models like Hector, Hector Plus, Gloster and ZS Electric SUV in the Indian market. The company will now use Jio's Internet of Things (IoT) seamless integration technology for its next model. The company claims that MG's mid-size SUV will give customers the benefit of Geo's good internet outreach with high quality connectivity not only in metros but also in small towns and rural areas.


India's first connected SUV hectare

 Connected technology is being used well in new vehicles in the Indian market at present. As far as MG is concerned, the company introduced its SUV Hector as the first internet car in the Indian market. Geo's Connected Vehicle solution is a combination of hardware, software and connectivity, enabling users to access moving vehicles and people with trading infotainment and real-time telematics.


The driving experience will be much easier and more convenient

There is a growing trend of focus on software driven devices and a partnership with Geo in the IoT space will ensure that the driving experience will be easier and more convenient with our next mid-size connected SUV. This will provide technology supported security to the customers.


 MG Motor introduced some special features in its vehicles in the Indian market, which were seen for the first time. For example, internet / connected car, autonomous level an ADAS technology etc. The company launched its premium SUV Gloster with Level-1 Automonus features.


 Also, on the occasion of this partnership, Kiran Thomas, Director and President of Geo, said, “Geo is creating an ecosystem of advanced technology products and solutions for Indian users. Our partnership with MG Motor India is another important step in this journey.
